Hello! I'm Tiffany. 

I'm a storyteller who writes personal essays, short stories, and flash fiction. Also, I'm a marketing consultant who writes articles, blog posts, and copy for my clients. If you want to know more, read my bio below.

Tiffany James, who writes under the pen name Tiffany J. Phoenyx, has been in a long-term relationship with writing since the first grade when she attempted to type fiction on her mother’s old typewriter. Fueled by a desire to make a difference—a value instilled in her by her grandmother—Tiffany served three years as an AmeriCorps volunteer, tackling issues in the affordable housing and education sectors. Born and raised in Baltimore, she founded TJPhoenyx, a content marketing agency, to help nonprofits and social entrepreneurs amplify the stories behind their mission and impact on communities. She earned a BS in Architecture from the University of Virginia and an MA in Writing from Johns Hopkins University.
